Production Process & Quality Control


Having rich experience in the fire extinguisher business, we recognize that it is very important for us to satisfy our clients with regard to quality. Incoming Stock Inspection Code - Steel Plate

1. Purpose
The test and inspections shall be carried out to make sure no unualified stell enter into the production
2. Applicable Range
This code is suitable for the cylinder production.
3. Inspection Content & Requirement
3.1 The Heat Number, Specification on the Steel Quality Certificate shall be conformity to the heat number and specification of the steel delivered.
3.2 ST14 steel plate shall conform to the requirement of QB/BQ 403 standard.
3.3 Chemical Analysis
3.3.1 The chemical composition on the steel plate quality cerfiicate shall conform to the Table 1:

3.3.2 The cylinder body shall use premium carbon steel , The chemical
composition and mechanical properties shalln't lower than the requiement
as listed in the Table 2:

3.3.3 The steel used for cylinder manufacturing shall be delivered with the Aqualulity Certificate from the steel manufacturer. Fore every batch steel, when delivered to factory, the chemical analysis test and mechanical property test shall be carried out to verify the steel delivered conform to the qulity certificate.
3 .4 The mechanical properties on the Quality Certificate issued by the steel manufacturer shall conform to the Table 3.

3.5 Using the micrometer caliper to measure the thickness of the plate. Two samples
sheets shall be taken from every batch. 4 measuring points shall be evenly
selected on each sheet. The thickness measured at the points selected 20 mm away from the edge
shall conform to those specified in the following table . Otherwise the whole batch shall be rejected.

3.6 The surface of the steel plate shal be visually checked if it has no obvious
Defects. Otherwise whole batch shall be rejected.
3.7 The inspection result shall be recorded in the incoming Steel Inspection Report.
The report shall submitted to QA/ QC Department same day or office open time next morning.
